About the Author

Author Dr. William F. Covey was raised in Arizona, but born in Senath, Missouri. After graduating from East Phoenix High School, he became an indentured Inside Wireman apprentice I. B. E. W. Local 640. He later attended Arizona State University in the college of Business and later attended Cleveland Chiropractic College that awarded him a doctorate degree. He met Erma Bombeck and Og Mandino during an Arizona Author Association meeting. They encouraged him not to attend any writing classes and start writing about any topic. His favorite author is Victor Hugo with Les Misérables as his favorite book with Old Man in the Sea second. He currently works for the LADWP in Los Angeles.

He has written many stories but put them aside until one day when Stephen King told him his writing history. Stephen told him not to give up and keep every paper or note or story until one day they may become very important to his writing career. Now with Desolation Part One published and Desolation Part Two and Part Three to soon be published.

He said that he writes for the reader to Mind Travel and create their own personal adventures reading is Novels.

His quest to get children into reading books again he has created Mrs. Bloomfield’s Kids. Books for the 5th graded level that creates facts with fiction so that they will start reading again. The 21 individual book series will soon be released one book at a time. The stories cover China, Egypt, France, the Middle East, Africa, North and South Americas along the many great empires. Throughout time many empires have risen and fallen: Egypt, Babylon, Hebrew, Persia, Greece, Rome, India, Siam, China Mayan, Aztec, Inca, African Empires, etc. These adventures will educate and thrill the reader.
